COVID‐19‐related fears and information frequency predict sleep behavior in bipolar disorder
Graphical Abstract
The online survey showed that individuals with bipolar disorder (BD) reported overall poor sleep in comparison with healthy controls during total lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as when restrictions were loosened. Individuals with BD informed themselves more frequently about pandemic-related topics and higher information frequency and more COVID-19 fears (about the virus, own infection, contracting others) correlated with worse sleep. Regression models found in BD group that higher information frequency as well as higher COVID-19 fears in April predicted worse sleep characteristics in May, in particular subjective sleep quality, sleep duration, sleep efficiency, and daytime sleepiness.

Graphical Abstract
Raman spectroscopy has been used to diagnose COVID-19 in serum samples of subjects without clinical symptoms of COVID-19. The main spectral differences between the positive IgM and IgG versus Control were features assigned to proteins, lipids (including phospholipids), immunoglobulins, carotenoids, nucleic acids, and amino acids (tryptophan). Discriminant model applied to the Raman spectra could discriminate positive Ig groups versus Control with an accuracy of 90.3%. Raman spectroscopy may become a technique for rapid serological evaluation aiming diagnosis of COVID-19 infection.

Patient characteristics in tardive COVID‐19 pseudoperniosis: a case series of 16 patients
Graphical Abstract
We describe a series of 16 cases of COVID-related tardive pseudoperniosis (PP). Symptoms in all patients persisted beyond 2 months. Positive autoimmune serological markers and an arachnodactyloid phenotype were observed in some patients and may represent risk factors. Underlying connective tissue disorders, anorexia or sickle cell trait may also predispose to prolonged PP.

Graphical Abstract
We retrospectively analyzed data from 6537 predominantly hospitalized COVID-19 patients registered in the European multinational Lean European Open Survey on SARS-Infected Patients (LEOSS) registry between January 2020 and February 2021. Common neurological symptoms were excessive tiredness (28.0%), headache (18.5%), nausea/emesis (16.6%), muscular weakness (17.0%), impaired sense of smell (9.0%) and taste (12.8%), and delirium (6.7%). Most frequent neurological complications were ischemic stroke (1.0%) and intracerebral bleeding (2.2%) in patients with a complicated or critical disease course. Excessive tiredness (odds ratio [OR] 1.42) and prior neurodegenerative disease (OR 1.32) were associated with an increased risk of an unfavorable outcome.

Investigate the interaction of testosterone/progesterone with ionic liquids on varying the anion to combat COVID‐19: Density functional theory calculations and molecular docking approach
Graphical Abstract
The authors attempt to increase the solubility of testosterone and progesterone via interaction with ionic liquids. An increase in the value of dipole moment is observed for the complex of testosterone/progesterone and the ionic liquids in comparison of individual one based on DFT calculations. Testosterone-IL1 {IL1-3-(2-hydroxyethyl)-1-methyl-1H-imidazol-3-ium 2,4,6-trinitrophenolate} is found to be prominent against main protease of SARS-CoV-2.

Graphical Abstract
The effect of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic was assessed on food safety knowledge, hygiene practices, and eating attitudes of academics and university students in Turkey. Gender was the most prominent factor associated with 9 out of 10 hygiene practices before and during the coronavirus pandemic. This study indicates that reactions of both academics and university students are similar during the coronavirus pandemic for food safety-associated knowledge, practices, and attitudes.

Graphical Abstract
We use a meta-analysis to explore the correlation between cardiac-related comorbidities, cardiac biomarkers, acute myocardial injury, and severity level, outcomes in patients with COVID-19. Most of the findings clearly indicate that hypertension, cardiovascular disease, acute cardiac injury, and related laboratory indicators are associated with the severity of COVID-19. What is now needed are cross-national prospectively designed observational or clinical trials that will help improve the certainty of the available evidence and treatment decision for patients.

A Broad‐Spectrum Antimicrobial and Antiviral Membrane Inactivates SARS‐CoV‐2 in Minutes
Graphical Abstract
A safe, inexpensive, and scalable microfibrous polyurethane membrane with chlorine-immobilizing hydantoin and wettability-enhancing sulfobetaine functional groups is reported. After chlorination, the membrane exhibits long-lasting, exceptional killing efficacy against a broad spectrum of bacteria and viruses. In particular, a 5.17 log reduction is observed against SARS-CoV-2 after 10 min of contact with the membrane.
Large‐Sized Graphene Oxide Nanosheets Increase DC–T‐Cell Synaptic Contact and the Efficacy of DC Vaccines against SARS‐CoV‐2
Graphical Abstract
A novel material-based method of regulating dendritic cell (DC)–T-cell synaptic contact for adoptive DC vaccine engineering is reported. Graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets serve as a “nanozipper” or “double-sided tape” facilitating the formation and aggregation of DC–T-cell immune synapses to elicit robust cytotoxic T cell immune responses against SARS-CoV-2 infection. Cytoskeleton-dependent membrane-positioning of intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) might be the underlying mechanism.
Rituximab‐induced acute lympholysis and pancytopenia after COVID‐19 vaccination
Graphical Abstract
Rituximab and COVID-19 vaccine can cause massive hyperacute depletion of B cells and plasma cells, as well as subsequent cytokine release syndrome, coagulopathy, and pancytopenia. These effects differ from the adverse effects that have been reported for rituximab, and new guidelines regarding the timing of rituximab infusion and vaccination are urgently needed.

Graphical Abstract
Tension pneumomediastinum is a rare complication of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection that has increased in incidence with the novel coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic. Although traditionally managed with conservative measures, we present the indications and methods for the first operative management of tension pneumomediastinum with concomitant SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Here, we examine the current and future impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on this population through a survey of 213 students and early career tropical researchers from around the world. As of September 2020, 55% of participants had already experienced financial repercussions due to the pandemic. Future worries were diverse and included equal concern regarding advancement (collaborations and networking), job uncertainty, fieldwork, and funding, as well as mental health concerns
